Petronella Tshuma

Petronella Tshuma is a multi-award winning and nominated Actor. Born in Francestown, Botswana, At the age of five Petronella and her family moved back to their home country of South Africa.

It was in a church in downtown Johannesburg in 1997 that Petronella fell in love with performing. Her very first introduction to acting would be the adaption of the nativity stage play. As her love for stage and story telling grew, she began to perform in school plays around her neighbourhood of Yeoville, Hillbrowand Berea.

In 2001, Petronella moved to the United Kingdom. She lived in the Southwest of England in Bristol and attended Filton High School where she majored in Drama. Her final performance was the hot and feisty Carmen in the hit musical FAME. In 2008 after two years of studying acting at SWADA she received her BTECH.

In 2011 Petronella first came to public attention when she made the Top ten finalists on the second season of the SABC1 talent search Class Act. Shortly thereafter, Petronella landed her first major role on Scandal! In the same year, Petronella attended the Durban International Film – and was approached by the Director and Producer’s of the multi awarding winning film OF GOOD REPORT to play the character of Nolita which earned her a nomination at the South African Film and Television Awards for Best Actress in a feature film and her first win for Most Promising Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Thus far, Petronella has worked on a number of films, to name a few; While You Weren’t Looking, Hatchet Hour and Tokoloshewhich can be seen on Netflix alongside Of Good Report. Petronella’s latest film Clean Job is set for release this year on Amazon Prime.

She has also worked on numerous television shows such as, 90 Plein Street, Sokhulu amd Partners, Goodmen, Plintered Pieces, Isono and Rhythm City which earned her a nomination at the South African Film and Television Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Soap and a win for Best Actress in a Soap.

Petronella’s huge imagination and love for play as a child was the catalyst into acting. story-telling was and still is the place she feels most confident and thrives bringing life and truth to the characters she has the privilege to play.

Tshepo Matshaba

After studying Journalism at Rhodes University Tshepo’s professional journey began at Succeed Magazine writing entrepreneurial articles which led to his own column “Da Funki Generashun” in 1998. Tshepo’s writing caught the eye of John Hunt, head of renowned advertising agency TBWA Hunt Lascaris. John asked Tshepo to join the team and work on the MTN account as copywriter, producer and he managed to also voice a character in the MTN “Stix” radio campaign. This led to Tshepo’s first television voice over performance for an MTN TV commercial.

In 2004, after working heavily in advertising, Tshepo began leaning more towards recording voice overs. By 2006, Tshepo regularly booked voice work, radio and TV campaigns in English, Setswana, Sesotho and isiZulu. In 2008 Tshepo was approached by Mr Patrick Bogatsu, then Programme manager for the leading Durban based KZN regional radio station Gagasi FM to be the station’s imaging voice, a role he continued with for nine years.

Tshepo has voiced countless radio and TV commercials for top companies such as Vodacom, Total, SAB Breweries, Multichoice, Mzansi Magic, Old Mutual, DSTV, Nedbank, Mzansi Bioskop, Mzansi Wethu, Absaville, Multichoice Diski Challenge, Nedbank Cup, Kaya FM, MTN, Accenture, Cambridge Food, Anglo American and Telkom Mobile.

Tshepo has experience in writing, translating, voicing, and producing radio dramas, educational videos, e-learning, documentaries for all major industries including Mining, Financial Services, Automotive, Health, Entertainment, Retail, Government and more. Tshepo’s experience is wide and varied.

Zanele Potelwa is an award-winning radio and television presenter, MC, DJ, content creator, actress and voice-over artist who has firmly established herself as one of South Africa’s most exciting young media personalities.

Known for her infectious energy, warmth and genuine love for people, Zanele has built a career around her passion for communication and her ability to connect with audiences from all walks of life. Whether behind the radio mic, in front of the camera or commanding a live stage, she brings an unmistakable energy and authenticity to everything she does.

Zanele currently co-hosts 5FM’s flagship afternoon drive show, 5 Drive, Monday to Friday from 15:00–18:00, having steadily risen through the ranks of the national youth station. Her 5FM journey began behind the scenes as a mentee before she moved on air, first hosting the weekday overnight slot, then joining the Roger Goode Show as traffic presenter and later being awarded her own weekday lunchtime show. Her talent on air has seen her recognised as an SA Radio Award winner.

Her television career has grown alongside her success in radio. Zanele is a presenter on S3’s Expresso Morning Show, leading the show’s Johannesburg studio, as well as a presenter on SABC 1’s iconic entertainment and lifestyle programme Selimathunzi.

She has also become synonymous with adventure reality television as host of Tropika Island of Treasure. Her work on Tropika Island of Treasure: Zanzibar earned her a 2026 SAFTA nomination for Best TV Presenter, with Zanele returning to host the show’s 12th season.

Zanele’s natural ability to connect with both live and television audiences has also made her an increasingly sought-after MC and event host. In 2026, she reached another major career milestone when she co-hosted the 32nd Annual South African Music Awards alongside Cassper Nyovest at the Sun City Superbowl.

Chilu Lemba

Chilu Lemba

Chilu Lemba is a Zambian-born and South African–based radio and television presenter, voice over artist, author and musician. His voice is heard across the continent daily on ads ranging from branding commercials for washing detergents and cellphone networks, to promos for satellite television channels.

A graduate of the AAA School of Advertising, Chilu has over two decades experience in collaborating with media institutions, production companies and has been the voice of the Eyewitness News brand heard daily on Talk Radio 702 and Cape Talk, for the past ten years. He also voices thousands of communication ads annually for multiple brands.

In June 2019, Chilu released his memoir titled Finding My Voice detailing his journey in the media industry.

Chilu won the award for Best TV Promo (2022) at the Voice Over Awards hosted by The Association of African Podcasters and Voice Artists. He was also awarded the Voice Arts Award in the Outstanding Commercial - TV or Streaming - Best African Voiceover (2022) category, hosted by The Society of Voice Arts and Sciences

Other achievements include the APVA Spotlight of the Year (2022) Legacy Recognition award for excellent work as an industry expert and key supporter of the African audio industry

Paballo Koza

Paballo Koza

Paballo began acting at age 5, starring in numerous commercials. At age 11, he landed his first TV role on the SABC 2 drama series ‘Thola.’ He also starred in the short film ‘The Blanket’ and recorded voice overs for Cell C’s TV & radio ads. He proceeded to get a supporting role in the SAFTA winning soapie ‘Rhythm City’ at age 13 and starred in the Darrel Roodt, SATFA nominated, comedy film ‘Skorokoro’ the same year.

At age 14 he received an African Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Young Actor for his starring role in the theatrical drama film ‘Dora’s Peace.’ During the same year he also began acting on the SAFTA nominated Mzansi Magic telenovela ’The Queen’, to which he had a recurring role through the six consecutive seasons.

He starred in the ETV drama ‘Easy Money’ at the age of 15. Paballo then proceeded to act in the critically acclaimed Mzansi Magic drama series ‘Houskeepers’ the following year, to which he had a supporting role during the first two seasons and a starring role on the third season.

Paballo acted while simultaneously attending school, which showcased his passion for acting as well as diligence and good work ethic. He attended high school at The National School of The Arts, majoring in Dramatic Arts.

In 2020, he starred in the SAFTA nominated Netflix film ‘Riding with Sugar’ as well as a guest role on BET’s telenovela ‘Isono’ that same year.

After graduating high school with a bachelor’s pass and three distinctions in 2020, he took his studies further by studying filmmaking at The New York Film Academy.
