Panch Gasela

Panch Gasela has been in the entertainment space  since he was 16 years old. Throughout the years he has shown drive and exponential growth in both stand-up comedy and acting.

His stand up comedy talents have lead him to grace the stage on Grab the Mic (Comedy Central), Funny People South Africa (SABC2) and Laugh Africa festival. While his acting prowess has seen to him starring in televivion dramas such as Justice Served (Netflix) and Soon Comes Night (Netflix). He has also done several advertising campaigns for various brands, including KFC’s Beyond The Sea campaign for which he won a Loerie Award for Best Performance in a Film (2024). The sky is beyond the limit for this young man.

Thando’s unique voice—both literally and artistically—has already begun to resonate on international platforms. He was cast in Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, Disney+’s groundbreaking African animated sci-fi anthology, where his voice brought depth and dimension to a visionary story. He also appeared in the critically acclaimed Netflix South African series Justice Served, and took on a notable role in the indie feature film Loved Out, further showcasing his range and emotional intelligence on screen.

Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, also known as “Lady Nam,” is an award-winning actress, entrepreneur, style icon, and global activist. A University of Cape Town graduate with an Honours degree in Business Science, she was recognized as one of the top 5 entrepreneurs in South Africa by Accenture Group in 2019.

Nthati Moshesh

Nthati Moshesh is a multi-award winning South African actress with a career spanning over 30 years across film, television, and theatre. Born and raised in Katlehong (Ekurhuleni), she developed a passion for drama from an early age. She studied Drama as a matric subject at St. Andrew’s School for Girls in Bedfordview before furthering her studies at Natal Technikon (now Durban University of Technology), where she graduated with a National Diploma in Performing Arts in 1990.

Her early film career was marked by her first feature film role in Kini and Adams, which was nominated for a Palme d’Or at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival. She later starred in The Long Run, produced by Anant Singh, and played prominent roles in Kin alongside Miranda Otto and Isaiah Washington, Beat The Drum, Round Trip, and Cape of Good Hope. More recently, she has appeared in A Safari Romance, The Fragile King, and Ayanda (and the Mechanic), earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the African Movie Academy Awards and the SAFTAs.

Nthati has had a prolific television career, with starring roles in major South African and international productions. Nthati made her television debut on South Africa’s first soap, Egoli playing the role of Lerato. She won her first award in 2004, a Canadian Gemini Award (equivalent to an Emmy) for her role as Odette in Human Cargo and has received multiple SAFTA nominations and wins, including Best Actress for Thola, Saints and Sinners, and Isono. Her notable TV roles include Scandal!, Home Affairs, Lockdown, Housekeepers, Ring of Lies II, Saints & Sinners and most recently taking home the Best Supporting Actress in a TV Drama at the SAFTAs for her portrayal of Grace Bhengu in Netflix’s Savage Beauty.

Nthati’s work has enabled her to indulge her love for travelling. She has acted in London, Zimbabwe and Israel and attended festivals in France and Spain.

Nthati has also ventured into the content creator realm and has worked with various beauty care brands. Looking into the future she plans to expand on her social media platforms and work with various brands on campaigns.

Kwanele Mthethwa

Kwanele Mthethwa is a South African actress who rose to fame with her role as Ayanda in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Isithembiso.
 Born and raised in Durban, she moved to Johannesburg in 2018 and immediately landed the role of Ayanda on Isithembiso.

Originally a recurring character, her first appearance in the role was in Season 2, Episode 221, which first aired on Mzansi Magic on 4 February, 2019.
She then got an opportunity to star cast for the third season, which ended in 2020.

Kwanele next starred in the Mzansi Magic telemovie Indandatho Yokukhanya, a supernatural drama which aired as part of the channel's "Lokshin Bioskop" strand on Sunday, 5 January 2020.
Also starring Unati Guma, the film
follows a timid and overly cautious girl who finds out that her parent's spirits  were taken by the Dark One and she embarks on a mission to save them.

Kwanele next played the recurring role of Boity on the Mzansi Magic drama series Abomama, making her first appearance in the role on 1 August, 2021 (Season 2, Episode 5).
 Later that month she starred in a second Mzansi Magic movie - Umhlukanisi - which first aired on the channel on 28 August, 2021.

The premise of the movie is that after seven years of marriage, a domestic worker finds herself falling in love with her boss - but her husband finds out and manipulates her to rob the family she has grown to love.
 The film also stars Fortune Thobejane.

Another film role followed, this time in the Showmax Original Movie Umakoti Wethu - the feature film directorial debut of Nozipho Nkelemba - which was released for streaming on 23 September, 2021.
 Fulu Mugovhani stars in this drama as Khathu, who finds herself in crisis when her husband's new job ignites old flames.
 Melusi Mbele plays her husband Sizwe, with Kwanele Mthethwa as the woman caught in the middle.

Kwanele next found herself in another recurring role in an Mzansi Magic series, this time in the role of Phumeza on the channel's flagship soapie, The Queen.
 Her first appearance in the role was in Season 6, Episode 69, which aired on 28 October, 2021.

The following year she starred in another Showmax Original movie, Induku, which was released on 20 January, 2022.
 In the film she stars as Khethiwe Shibe, who defies her father in order to save her family by secretly entering her community's biggest stick-fighting tournament.
 Kwanele also had a guest role in an episode of the 1Magic romantic comedy- drama series Entangled which aired on 18 March, 2022 (Season 1, Episode 11).

Kwanele again had a guest role on the SABC 13 part drama series The premier as Dudu Madau. She followed this up with another starring role in television when she was cast as lead role Thembelihle in the Mzansi Magic drama series Umbuso.

Her character in the show is Ma E's (Bheki Sibiya) daughter who is trapped in a loveless, childless marriage with Mothusi (Sphamandla Dhludhlu), a superficially charming businessman working in the NGO sector.
Mothusi is an emotionally abusive serial cheater who wants a Thembelihle to be a traditional wife while offering none of the respect that role would involve.
Thembelihle secretly still loves Uncle Tiny's son, Tshepiso (played by Khojane Morai).

Umbuso premiered on Mzansi Magic on Sunday 3 April, 2022.
She is currently on the BET telenovela REDEMPTION playing the leading role of Faith Zikode and has an upcoming feature film Titled “Wathinta umfazi” playing the lead role of Bongi promise khumalo. Based on a true story

Thato Dithebe

Thato Dithebe is a South African actor best known for his role as Neo in the e.tv soapie House of Zwide. Hailing from Krugersdorp in Gauteng, he attended Maragon Private School before furthering his studies at the University of the Witwatersrand, in 2019.

He made his professional screen debut in 2016 when he was cast as a presenter on SABC1's youth block YoTV, in the shows YoTV Land and YoTV Live. In 2020 he began hosting the Channel O lifestyle show GenZ, as President Thato.

Thato made his acting debut in a cameo role on the SABC2 sitcom Gauteng Maboneng in an episode that aired on 29 January,2017 (Season 3, Episode 12). He next had a guest starring role in an episode of the BET sitcom Black Tax which aired on 25 February, 2020 (Season 1, Episode 7). A guest starring role in the 1Magic drama series Unmarried followed, in Season 3, Episode 7 (which aired on 20 May, 2022).

The role of Neo in House of Zwide came next. Originally credited in a first season episode as "Alex's Team Member" (Season 1, Episode 251), he began recurring from Season 2 onwards. In the show his character is a charismatic, confident charmer who takes a strong interest in Ona (Nefisa Mkhabela), despite the fact that she has a longtime boyfriend, Soka (Linda Nxumalo).

In the same year he had a guest starring role in an episode of the Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen (Season 7, Episode 37), which aired on 13 September, 2022.

Thato landed his first starring role in television when he was cast as Tshepang, an Amapiano star who leave home to find his fame and fortune, in the Mzansi Magic drama series Kokota and later joined One Magic’s telenovela “Champions”.
