Othembele Nomgca

Othembele Nomgca was born in a small town called Flagstaff in the Eastern Cape. His family relocated to Kokstad where he was introduced to sports like rugby and opera whilst he completed his schooling and went on to Durban University of Technology to study Drama and Production Studies. He completed his diploma in 2020.

Whilst studying acting Othembele got the opportunity to be involved in shows at The Courtyard Theatre, the most notable being the Zulu Production of Usiza and Iwisa at the Johannesburg Pop Art Theatre.

Othembele received his first on camera role as Bongz on Uzalo and most recently can be seen in Mzansi Magic’s – 1802” Love Defies Time.

Othembele’s talents also extend to being the camera as a director as well as a content creator.

Carol Ofori

Carol currently lives between Johannesburg, and Durban and is willing to travel for work.

Carol is an accomplished and highly regarded voice-over artist, radio presenter, TV presenter, author, and master of ceremonies. With a career spanning over 15 years, she has achieved numerous accolades and notable experiences.

In 2023, Carol received the prestigious SOVAS (Society of Voice Artists and Sciences) award, often dubbed the “Oscar for voices,” in the “Africa radio” category. This recognition highlights her exceptional talent and contributions to the industry. She has lent her voice to various significant events and shows throughout her career. For instance, Carol has been the voice of the South African Music Awards, Miss South Africa voice of god, and the MTV MAMA’s voice. While Mamohau sadly does not personally know Charlize Theron, she comes “straight outta” Benoni, on the East Rand of Johannesburg, but now wakes up to much-loved views of Table Mountain. Within the Primedia stable, she has participated in a number of round-table discussions on sister talk radio station, Cape Talk, regarding social issues, as well as completing various voice-over projects. She relishes engaging in intimate conversation with her listeners, accompanied by love jams, on “Kfm Sunday Love Songs with Mamohau”, every Sunday, from 7-10pm.

Sthandile Nkosi

Sthandile Nkosi is a Hardworking, bubbly, focused 29 year old qualified performer and actress from Pretoria, Soshanguve who considers herself as a malleable artist.  She studied Dramatic Arts at Pro Arte Alphen Park High school (2011) and graduated from Tshwane University of Technology obtaining both a Diploma and B-Tech Drama Degree in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Majoring in Directing and Scriptwriting in the final year.

As a theatre trained practitioner, she has partaken is multiple school productions namely: A Woman in Waiting as Young Thembi Mtshali (2014), Alcohol DTI Educational theatre roadshow as Xoli (2014), Dipolelo Gotswa Borwa (2015), Adaptation of Medea – Ovation Award winner (2015), Ubulution as Moloi (2016), My Dog don’t like Black people (2017), Reen Bloed Nasie (2018). Eventually, writing and directing her own play titled Ninah (2018). She began performing professionally in theatre where she played various characters on the production Saving Azania (2019).

She made her first television debut on a series Mtvbase Shuga Down South S2 (2018) as Cute girl and Manicurist. She also featured on the Netflix thriller series Dead Places (2019) undertaking the role of Mary a young maid. Sthandile appeared on Pretty’s Daughter as Amy in the NFVF Female Film slate (2019). She went on to play the supporting role of Amahle on the thriller Mzansi Magic movie: Mamodibe (2019). Sthandile has performed in the Children’s theatre piece The Revealers (2020) where she starred as the antagonist Bethany Mazibuko, which has toured around Johanesburg South Schools. Sthandile went onto tackle more serious roles on the big screen with her role as Koketso on Mzansi Magic’s Nnake (Leburugraphy picture). She can be seen on the first season of Vula Vala (2020 - Black brain Pictures), where she plays the trustworthy, streetwise yet sweet shop manager Teaspoon.

In the year 2022, she starred in the Netflix original Supernatural African based six part series The Brave Ones where she played the lead role, Ntsiki a teenage girl who is a reincarnated goddess who comes to save the township where ancestral ground is found from being gentrified.  Portraying this role, helped her acquire special skills like swimming in order to fully submerge herself for the first episode and voice over work where she learnt the importance of matching the emotions of the scenes shot with the voice qualities. In the same year, she was casted as the lead character Mbali on Evod’s production uMbali, where she played a former township beauty queen who would do anything to make money in order to maintain a life of luxury and to feed her daughter. She later joined the cast of The Queen portraying the sexy, evil, money-loving character Londiwe who plays a rival of Harriet Khoza with the hope of taking over the Drug business.

This year in 2023, Sthandile shot an advert for Benny stock cubes as the lead for the stockvel ladies and has also done a voice over for the product. She has done voice work for Netherlands animation called Panda Bear as Kabora who is an evil baboon who wants to steal Panda from China to South Africa by shipping him. She has also shot a movie Becoming Mrs Nkosi portraying the role of Kgomotso Sithole who is a conflicted young lady who stalks her half-sister in order to have her life which she so desires.

Sthandile’s believes that the art of storytelling is the best way to influence social transformation. “It is like holding up a mirror for those who care to search deep for what lies beneath, in order to find the best versions of themselves, within themselves for the betterment of society.”

Njabulo Ndlela

Njabulo is from Durban, Kwazulu-Natal and currently living in Johannesburg.

Njabulo’s received his first TV opportunity as a ten year old on an Aquafresh commercial featuring Lucas Radebe. The acting ‘bug bit’ following that opportunity and Njabulo nurtured his talent throughout his schooling career in Durban. He developed a love of reading, writing and speaking during high school and took part in several school plays. He is fluent in English and isiZulu, he has also developed a keen interest in accents and is able to deliver a generic American Accent as well as a Belfast, Northern Irish accent.

In 2021, Njabulo completed an FET certificate in Drama at Oakfield’s College in Pretoria and in 2022 he completed a higher certificate in Performing Arts at AFDA for which he received a distinction.

Njabulo is a natural in the voice over booth and easily able to take direction, he would be a great choice to lend his voice to any brand.

Abulele Mafuya has been working as a voice actor, writer and presenter since 2007.

He began by presenting and narrating current affairs inserts for community radio and TV stations, as well as training videos and e-learning courses for a variety of organisations, including Pearson, Standard Bank and Oxford University.

He has since lent his voice to a number of radio and television commercials, in English and isiXhosa for top brands such as Burger King, Hyundai, Old Mutual and Parmalat.

As a writer, he has served in various capacities in the industry as a copywriter, scriptwriter, script supervisor and editor.

In his private time he attempts to take flight by flapping his long arms. Results have been at best, negligible. Once he managed to raise himself to around stoep height. It was a Tuesday.

Andile Nebulane

Andile Nebulane

Andile Nebulane is a very versatile South African actor popularly known for his current role as Detective Malinga on Generations - The Legacy. He has also graced our screens on shows like Blood Psalms, Rhythm City, Igazi, Keeping Score and Hustle to name a few. He has also work intensively in theatres around the globe.

Marcus Molemane

A proud Pedi boy, born and bred in Johannesburg, Marcus is an actor, creative & storyteller with a passion for the Arts.

His commitment to his artistry tracks back to his teen years when strutted his way through pageantry modelling.

In 2017, he  made it to the top 12 for the Mzansi Insider presenter search which set him on a path of discovery and development as it pertains to his intrigue for  screen and set work. He later explored his presenting skills again through hosting a comedy show called "Funnyness" for 16 months.

He has played around in different roles as an actor starring in various student short films to hone in on his performance capabilities. In 2019, one of the student films he got to perform in won a SAFTA for best short film.

After he obtained his Dramatic Arts certificate from Indigo View, he graced the screens with a supporting role in a feature film and went on to perform in various Shakesperean plays at The Joburg Theatre.

Currently making an appearance on local shows such a The Estate (SABC3) and Binnerlanders (ShowMax), he is driven to tell stories and becoming a multi-talented filmmaker through his production and casting director roles for upcoming short films which are written and directed by young artists like himself. He keeps a great nest of creatives around him to continue to grow and invest in his craft.
