Mamohau Seseane

Mamohau Seseane

While Mamohau sadly does not personally know Charlize Theron, she comes “straight outta” Benoni, on the East Rand of Johannesburg, but now wakes up to much-loved views of Table Mountain. Within the Primedia stable, she has participated in a number of round-table discussions on sister talk radio station, Cape Talk, regarding social issues, as well as completing various voice-over projects. She relishes engaging in intimate conversation with her listeners, accompanied by love jams, on “Kfm Sunday Love Songs with Mamohau”, every Sunday, from 7-10pm.

With a voice described as “golden”, she is an accomplished voice over artist, having lent her voice to many corporate campaigns, TV and radio advertisements and social initiatives, including the Third Inter-ministerial Conference for Health and Environment in Africa. She also serves as the station voice for Gauteng’s biggest commercial talk radio station, 702, as well as CapeTalk. Mamohau thrives as a lifestyle model and performer. Her modelling portfolio exhibits her immense versatility and vibrant personality, having shot campaigns for leading brands including Levi’s, Globacom, Nedbank, Pep, Lewis Stores, and Sportsman’s Warehouse.

As a sought-after master of ceremonies, her portfolio includes the Sanlam Top Destination Awards, first TEDxStellenbosch Women’s event, Empower Me Women’s Day celebrations, Bubbles & Bliss annual charity event, and the LeadSA Heroes Awards, to name a few. She also masterfully hosts and facilitates dialogues & discussions, including the Chambord Freedom Day Women’s Lunch and Celebrity Power Panel, in conversation with successful celebrity women who are trailblazers in their fields.

While studying at Stellenbosch University, Mamohau was elected Irene Residence’s head of Critical Engagement, First Years, and Welcoming, and pioneered the very first Women Empowerment portfolio in her student community, a reflection of her passion for uplifting women and girls. As a law student, Mamohau is passionate about human rights, women empowerment and social justice. She aspires to truly be a changemaker and broaden access to legal mechanisms to effect tangible change. She has worked at The Justice Desk, an internationally-recognised and award-winning Queen’s Young Leaders human rights NPO. She is also the Vice Curator of the Cape Town Hub of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, a network of young working professionals committed to making a positive impact.

When she’s not working on her diverse career endeavours, Mamohau enjoys the cultural side of life, travelling, adventuring, and experiencing the beauty the world has to offer. She loves being engrossed in a new read while drinking copious amounts of tea, dancing (very badly), trying out new restaurants and cuisine, hiking, playing netball, and doing a “sho’t left” to explore South Africa’s local gems.

Mamohau’s multi-talented nature, go-getting spirit and warmth makes her a true asset in any social sphere. Living by the maxim, “Who dares, wins”, this young talent is definitely one to watch.

Kagiso Rathebe

Kagiso Rathebe

After graduating from the Market Theatre Laboratory in 2013, Kagiso Rathebe has spent the past 10 years carving out a space for himself in the industry that ultimately defines him as one of the country’s most versatile actors. Well known for his roles on shows such as Keeping Score, Generations: The Legacy, Spoorloos, The Queen, Netflix’s How To Ruin Christmas and more - Kagiso is best known for his villainous role as Amo on Scandal!

In addition to this, Kagiso recently appeared in Amazon Prime’s ‘My Girlfriend’s Father’ and also leads a stellar cast in the Mzansi Magic Crime Thriller ‘Maru A Pula’, where he plays a disgraced detective, grieving the loss of his child while having to investigate the case of another missing girl.

In 2018 Kagiso landed his first international role as Chidike Akindele on the BBC drama, Noughts & Crosses - starring opposite Bonnie Mbuli as her lover boy-toy. Within this same year Kagiso starred as the lead in the award-winning short film, Opus - based on the true story of classical bassist Vimbs Mavimbs. The film went on to have a run at multiple festivals abroad, including Atlanta, Washington DC and Italy - while going on to win the Best Short Narrative award at both The Silicone Valley Film Festival & the Jozi Film Festival respectively.

In 2022, after having starred on E-tv’s Scandal! for two and a half years, the producers decided to give Kagiso’s character an exit story; but not without turning him into a complete villain. While bittersweet, Kagiso relished the chance at being able to play out and complete his characters story in the most satisfying way. In a excerpt from a Times Live interview regarding playing the role of Amo Kagiso says ”There were certainly moments, especially as we got deeper into the meat of the story. I mean this is a very triggering subject for so many people. But I've never been one to shy away from a role simply because it was controversial. My job is to tell stories and to hopefully move people in some way or another, even if it meant half the country hating me. As long as I'm doing my job, I'm always satisfied.”

Kagiso’s portrayal of a once charming, likeable boyfriend turned cold-blooded villain with a broken heart, earned him rave reviews not only from the producers of the show but also avid viewers online - seeing his character and the show itself trend at number one on twitter for 2 months. Amo’s storyline caused an incredible bump in ratings for the long-running soapie, jumping from 4.9 million to 5.27 million viewers in the space of a month.

Kagiso also has an extensive history in voice-work, having done live announcing in department stores such as Game & Builders Warehouse for  the better part of six years, while also gaining experience in short Radio Commercials and Corporate Campaign Videos. In 2015 Kagiso also hosted The International Franchise Expo at Sandton Convention Centre, which ran for three days.

Having already proven how malleable he is performance wise, in terms of the roles he’s embodied so far, Kagiso now aims to venture into more physically demanding roles given his personal love for keeping active, whether it be in the gym or at the gun-range. He has a deep respect for the craft and will check his ego at the door every time he steps on a set - as this is a boy who understands that he is only ever in service to the character as well as the story.

For bookings or more information on Kagiso, please get in contact with an agent at OSM Talent.

Gaosi Raditholo

Gaosi Raditholo

In an age of social media buzz and superficial stardom, Gaosi Raditholo has managed to steer clear of all the noise and establish herself as a pure thespian. Over the past few years, film directors and producers across the country have marvelled at how as soon as the lights come on and the camera turns her way, she is able to transform from her shy off-screen persona to embody virtually any role to perfection.

Gaosi’s interest in performance started at a very young age. Her late grandmother was a huge influence through her work as a writer, director and actress in community theatre plays in her village in Botswana. “We’d go on tour with her plays on a blue train back then and just watch her direct plays which dealt with pertinent social issues,” she recalls. “I was also part of the school choir in primary school and would perform in musical theatre shows then. I just loved performance. It was more a hobby back then, an opportunity to play pretend in the same way my sister and I would do during our play time.”

This influence has been clear throughout her career — during her master’s year (she majored in directing and playwriting) Gaosi produced, directed and wrote a screenplay tackling pertinent issues around women, xenophobia and representation on SA film and the broader media landscape. She continues to take an interest in interrogating these issues and wishes to create films and series which advance women rights and mental health in the near future.

Prior to attaining her master’s degree, when Gaosi was in her third year as a dramatic arts student at Wits University, she was awarded the Percy Tucker award as the prestigious school’s best directing student. Despite this being an award often given to fourth year and postgraduate students, Gaosi was ahead of her class and already showing immense promise beyond her years. In the decade since, she’s proven that she truly is cut from a different cloth by not only fulfilling her promise as a director, but also by showcasing her versatility as an all-round filmmaker through her many roles acting on local and international TV/film productions.

Shortly after she was awarded the Percy Tucker award, Gaosi was invited to join Makhaola Ndebele to assistant direct on the legendary Zakes Mda’s play, The Mother of All Eating, which went on to play at the Market Theatre, The State Theatre and Freestate. While she has plans to delve into directing once more, it was at this point that she decided to focus her career as a TV actress.

It didn’t take long for Gaosi to announce her arrival on the scene with her breakthrough role as an actress on an SABC 2 show called Keeping Score. Here, she played the character of Jade, a broken girl trying to find herself in a world which wasn’t accepting of her sexuality. Jade’s mother’s overt rejection of who she is led her to question her identity and her place in the world. “The role required me as an actress to find emotional depth to convey her struggles,” says Gaosi. “It pushed me as an actress to interrogate the psychological impact of rejection or being othered in society. I had to make friends with my shadow self in order to convey an array of emotions in the most authentic way possible, with as much truth which resonated with the audience who could identify with her struggles.”

Over the following few years, Gaosi firmly established herself as one of the brightest young actresses on the continent with roles on film and TV productions such South Africa’s leading telenovela “Keeping Score”, “The Queen”, “The River”, sci-fi series “Vagrant Queen”, and a cameo role in National Geographic’s “Crisis in the Hot Zone” series. Known for her incredible range and dynamism, Gaosi is now set to take the international film industry by storm with an upcoming role on renowned global platform HBO in a series slated for release in 2023. Having been directed by great local theatre directors such as Greg Homann, Pusetso Thibedi and Makhaola Ndebele, as well as one of the great local multi award-winning TV & film directors  Catherine Cook, with whom she worked with on “Keeping Score” and “The River”, she’s continually been inspired to enhance her abilities by constantly challenging her artistic brain.

Apart from her work as an actress and director, Gaosi is big on fitness and working out — “A good gym session is necessary for my sanity. That’s what keeps me grounded and centred.” With plans of delving into athleisure in the near future, Gaosi’s keen sense of style and business are set to form the cornerstone of her next chapter. Given her trajectory and what she’s achieved thus far, there’s little doubt she’ll make a success of this, too.

For bookings or more information on Gaosi, please get in contact with an agent at OSM Talent.
