Busisiwe completed her tertiary education at the University of the Witwatersrand where she obtained her Honors Degree in a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic arts in 2013, her career though started well before obtaining her qualification. Busisiwe has been a part of some very popular shows within the South African industry and such as Lockdown, Ring of Lie to name a few, but many may commonly know her for her role of Thandeka on Thandeka’s Diary. She’s also graced our screens on soapies such as Scandal as well as Isidingo. In 2019 she booked her first international feature film following the narrative of Muslim girls saved from a Boko Haram camp. With both local and international film festival awards under her belt it’s clear to see that her range is wide and her talent immeasurable.
